TPO
Roofing.
Energy-efficient TPO roofing systems for commercial properties. Heat-welded seams and superior durability.
TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is the most widely installed commercial roofing membrane in the United States, and for good reason. It combines excellent UV resistance, energy efficiency, and durability at a competitive price point — making it an outstanding choice for flat and low-slope commercial roofs throughout the Denver metro area.
TPO membranes are heat-welded at all seams, creating a monolithic waterproof surface that is significantly stronger than adhesive or tape-bonded seams. Modern TPO formulations are highly resistant to UV degradation, ozone, and chemical exposure, and their white or light-colored surfaces reflect solar radiation to reduce cooling loads — a significant advantage in Colorado's high-altitude sun. TPO is also flexible enough to accommodate building movement and thermal expansion without cracking or delaminating.
ZMAC Construction installs TPO roofing systems from leading manufacturers including Carlisle, Firestone, GAF, and Johns Manville. We install TPO in fully adhered, mechanically attached, and ballasted configurations depending on the building structure, wind uplift requirements, and budget. Every installation is performed by certified applicators and backed by manufacturer warranties of up to 20 years.

FAQ.
TPO installation involves: preparation of the existing roof deck or substrate; installation of insulation board (polyiso or EPS) to achieve the required R-value; installation of the TPO membrane in the specified attachment method (fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted); heat-welding of all seams and laps to a minimum 1.5" weld width; installation of all flashings, penetration details, and edge metal; and final inspection and seam testing. ZMAC provides a detailed installation plan before work begins and performs quality control inspections throughout the project.
TPO roofing project timelines depend on roof size, complexity, and weather conditions. A typical 10,000–20,000 square foot commercial roof takes 3–7 business days to complete. Larger roofs or roofs with complex geometry, multiple penetrations, or significant substrate preparation may take longer. We provide a detailed project schedule before work begins and communicate any weather-related delays promptly.
Yes, ZMAC Construction provides free, no-obligation assessments and estimates for all TPO roofing projects. Our assessment includes a review of your existing roof condition, insulation levels, drainage, and structural requirements, and results in a detailed written proposal with system options and pricing.
